Celine Dion is officially in her rockstar era, and honestly, we are obsessed. The legendary singer was recently caught totally losing it during Metallica’s show at the Sphere in Las Vegas, proving that even the queen of power ballads has a major metal side. Seeing her riffing on an air guitar is the serotonin boost we didn’t know we needed.
Metal Energy in the Balcony
Celine wasn’t just sitting there looking pretty; she was fully immersed in the setlist from an upper balcony suite. She spent the Thursday evening alongside her sons, Eddy and Nelson Angélil, rocking out to the iconic band’s hits. Dressed in a chic dark blazer with her hair in a sleek updo, she was seen pumping her fists and even using “OK” hand signs above her head to catch the beat. In another photo, she raised both hands above her head in “OK” signs as she moved to the beat. This isn’t the first time a big name has been caught vibing to Metallica—Howard Stern was spotted enjoying their Hamptons performance back in September 2025—but seeing Celine do it feels extra special.

A Triumphant Return to Living Life
This high-energy moment comes after such a heavy journey for our girl. Since announcing her diagnosis with stiff person syndrome in December 2022, Celine has been incredibly open about her battle with this rare autoimmune disorder. She recently made a massive comeback with a 26-show Paris residency that ran from September 12 through October 17. During that inaugural show, she got real with the crowd, saying, “I promised not to cry… Tonight I want to sing for you, for me, for life.” It’s so powerful to see her honoring that promise to get back on stage. While Metallica’s “Life Burns Faster” residency concludes this evening, Celine’s own presence in Vegas remains legendary, having already completed two residencies at Caesars Palace’s Colosseum between 2003 and 2019. Seeing her embrace this unfiltered fun is everything.
